Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Please be informed that speakers should bring own Windows PC or Mac to make presentations to the Session Room by 15 minutes before the scheduled session time. Output is not possible with DVI, so the speakers are requested to bring a VGA or a HDMI adaptor if necessary. When bringing your own PC, be sure to bring an AC adapter. Screensaver and energy saving settings should be disabled. However, speakers will be able to use the PCs (and projection to a screen) prepared in the session rooms as well. The PCs in the Session Room are equipped with Windows 10 and PowerPoint 2010, 2013 and 2019 and so copy the data onto a USB memory and bring it to the Session Room before the scheduled session time. Speakers, with the exception of plenary talks, keynote talks, and invited talks, will basically be allotted 12 minutes for presentation, followed by 3 minutes for discussion. Speakers are advised to check the time schedule on the program and follow it.

Plenary talks: Planetary speakers will basically be allotted 50 minutes for presentation and discussion.

Keynote talks: Keynote speakers will basically be allotted 40 minutes for presentation and discussion.

Invited talks: Invited talk speakers will basically be allotted 30 minutes for presentation and discussion.
